A big thanks to all our volunteers and contributors!
The Donate Now button is closed for 2020.
As a result of the situation with the corona virus and not knowing what was ahead of us, the LAH event, as we knew it, was modified for 2020.
Our plan was not to rely on business donations as business owners had their own challenges but we offered the opportunity for individuals to make a financial donation to support our LAH efforts. The Lower Dauphin Falcon Foundation accepted tax deductible donations for us.
Our goal was to collect funds and provide support to the 2 recipient’s being helped.
Our 2020 LAH Recipients
Addie Jacobs, daughter of Amanda and Melvin Jacobs, is 5 years old. Addie was born with Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome which affects her bone marrow, pancreas, and bones. She is in and out of the hospital on a weekly basis – she lives attached to tubes and she requires numerous surgeries. Addie needs constant supervision from her parents or a nurse with her when her parents are at work.
Nancy Bottiglia, has ALS and her disease has progressed to where she is wheelchair bound. Nancy needs Home Health Care, assistance with co-pays for the numerous medications and procedures she must undergo, and their family needs a handicap vehicle to help Nancy get to her necessary appointments.
We encourage everyone to support those local businesses that have helped so much over the years.
